Medium-light ruby red in color. Forward, attractive & youthful nose of ripe red fruits of cherries, currants & strawberries with lovely floral notes of roses, minerals, earthy, dusty, dried herbs, some spices & smoky. Medium bodied with a good concentration of balanced, smooth textured, youthful & still developing, ripe red fruit flavors of sweet cherries, strawberries & tart cranberries with dried herbs, minerals, earthy, spices and a touch of toasty oak. Lingering finish. Presently accessible with decanting and airing but should continue to develop further with additional aging.

Gorgeus color classic Serralunga smoothness not overly complex but very good.

Fruit and structure cock-blocked by a mustiness that never quite went away, even after a two-hour decant.
