Delightful and nature. Toasty and complex with that richness and peachy quality but yet supported by huge amount of acidity. Not a cloying wine but balanced and sophisticated. Excellent. Sweet enough as a dessert wine but not super sweet.

Rot is in so many ways associated with things that are bad, and yet it is the crucial element in some of the most beautiful wines on earth. While my words will fall on mostly deaf ears since practically no one on CT has this wine, nonetheless I will say that Peter Lehmann's Semillon does a heck of a job in capturing the elements of the great Sauternes at a price one can afford. Now many years old, the color was a beautiful dark gold, the aroma hedonistic, the taste bordering on voluptuous.

Honey and light apple flavors. Very sweet without enough balancing acidity. This wine just wasn't balanced and had none of the spice I was hoping for.

Deep brown gold. Beautiful honeyed aroma, unctuous melon sweetness with balancing acidity. Enduring finish. Wonderful.
