Past-prime - this bottle anyway. Watery, waxy flavors with a touch of mint. Not bad, just blah. Had a couple glasses, but on day two, when it was no better, I poured remainder down the drain. This bottle was recently bought at auction (I was only bidder) - a one-off “experiment” purchase. AG said drinking window (rated 95) was through 2021, and CT reviews through 2018 were very good. Oh well.

Like last time aromas and flavors of lemon, white flowers, some peach and mildly toasted oak. Good balance. Rich fruit that seems more intense than when last tasted in Dec. 2015. A decent soft finish.

Lemon, white flowers, hints of peach, mildly toasted oak (seems to abate the longer the wine is open). Nicely balanced. Rich, but not real intense fruit. A longish velvety finish. Hard to discern how long this will last, but I'm thinking about drinking the rest I have fairly soon. As far as fruit intensity, it does not approach the Varner Bee Block, which seems much better.
