Deeper yellow green; white peach, salty, hay, tart yellow and green fruit; fatter then a great acid and mineral wave sweeps the palate clean, salty, savory, very Albarino showing more character than many commercial wines from Rias Baixas; very good.

The wine is pale straw in the glass with aromas and flavors of green apple, and white pear. Lighter-bodied and bone dry, the wine has a bracing, but not unpleasant acidity, plenty of salinity and a MINERAL-dominated finish that lasts for several minutes (I am not exaggerating). I emphasize MINERAL, as I read an article yesterday announcing that minerality was a bogus tasting descriptor. I assume the author of that article, however, never tasted this Albariño. A perfect pairing with Chinese food or oysters. And like most of the Boony Doon wines, it's reasonably priced.
