Not sure if time has helped but for us this was a delight. Easy approachable Tuesday night wine. Kind that everyone will enjoy. Not complaints here. Will buy more for a party wine

The nose was dark fruit with blackberry & dark red cherries. I agree it had a little heat on the nose. It had a nice purple color and mid-palate it picked up some tannins and relatively low acid. It had a short to mid finish.

Bright purple-ruby color. Smells like sweet plums, caramel and a coconut and bourbon note. Rich and jammy on the palate, with smooth tannins and medium-to-low acid. Sweet plums and blackberries mix with vanilla and smoke. More of a party red than a food-friendly wine.

Fruit, fruit, and more fruit. Blackberry, cherry, and a little bit of heat on the nose, this wine does not pretend to be anything but a fruity crowd pleaser. At that it succeeds. Not sure what meal I would throw at it, but on the patio or watching the game, this fits in well. Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

(Cornerstone Cellars Stepping Stone Red Rocks!) Very dark ruby color; tart cherry, herbaceous, light green olive nose showing a little heat; heavy, simple ripe currant, ripe black currant palate with some heat; medium finish (14.7% alcohol; sample provided by winery)
