Apple crisp nose or strudel nose. Golden delicious apple fruit with a touch of sweetness although acidity is sufficient and balanced with the fruit. Moderate length clean finish.

Very much reaching the end of its useful life. Lanolin, baked apples, burnt custard, caramel, spun sugar, rancio, and a hint of yeast. Dark golden, almost coppery, with dissipating perlage. After an hour or so in the bottle, it almost drank like a still wine (I should say 'mosso', but not 'spumante'). Good quality fruit on the palate, but not much grip, with all the acidity subsumed into evolved, tertiary notes of beeswax, kaya toast, and caramelised nuts. An interesting bottle, but nonetheless in a plain declining phase. Drink up now.

My wife's favorite sparkling wine of all times. Great with first course and led well into a red Burgundy after. Not too sweet, perfect.

Fine moussse and very fine bubbles. Citrus nose with some pech notes. Very soft in the mouth with nicely balanced acidity.
