As it turned out this 2010 version is not over-the-hill, in fact it is exquisite and drinking quite well: blueberry, pepper, cassis, blackberry, still lively and slightly smoky (where does that come from?) plus a little boysenberry on the finish helps round it out. WOW!

13.0% - Clear, med to deep purple / clean, med intensity - black fruit, spice box, freshly cracked pepper, clove, some tomato can in the background / dry, med to low acidity, med body, low smooth tannin, med intensity, short length. Was better last year as the fruity side seems to be fading away and this one had some tomato can notes in the finish. Drink now.

This is a really lovely great value Ontario red. Mid weight, great balance and flavour. Would buy more if I could.
