Deep golden color. Very oxidative nose, browned butter, baked apples and nuts. Taste is similar to these notes, apple and nuts being the dominant flavor. This wine still retains some freshness. I prefer the 2005.

Opened by Mark. This Marne Valley producer is one of the founding members of the Club Tressors. 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Meunier and 10% Pinot Noir. Aged 10 years in cellar before release (the maximum allowed by Special Club rules). Straw color. Surprisingly young and fresh for being aged so long. Smokey flavors with notes of creamy french toast and brioche. Long finish. 94 points.

Really enjoyed this champagne. Artisan grower so very much for the French market rather than uk. Golden / amber colour and very elegant with light acidity. Far less dry than some main stream champagne which I very much liked. Taste of Brioche / pastry but also a bit more fruit than previous champagne I have drunk such as Verve Cliquet

Munskänkarna Göteborg champagne-class, session 3, flight 1.
Massive fruity scent with red apples, red berries, milk chocolate and nougat.
Full-bodied, slightly bitter and very fruity, long with fine integral acid, brilliant!

A wonderful smokeyness and bread notes. Creamy texture. Nice balance. I wish I had purchased more
