  • One of the best Australian red wines you can get. Absolutely fantastic. Rich red wine with light tobacco , no tannins and great oak. Really great wine that is better than anything. Enjoyed with bbq sirloin steak. I need more of this!

  • A superior wine and and top quality Australian Syrah with all the signs of a beautifully mature wine which will I feel sure only improve. I plan to cellar another 5+ years.
Intense spiced plums, rasberries and cherries. The palate is smooth

  • 2010 now almost 10 years. Entering its peak period but will last another 20. Rich plum and red current. Light pepper and tannins. Smooth oak. One of the stand out South Australian Shiraz. Coonawarra at its best.

  • Appearance: Bright and clear, it is deep purple in color, with fading rim and legs.
Nose: Clean, with pronounced intensity aromas of black fruit of blackcurrant, stewed plum, dark cherries and bilberry, pungent spice of pepper, oak notes of vanilla, dried fruit of prune, animal notes of leather, maturity notes of savory, kernel notes of chocolate. The wine is developing.
Palate: Dry with medium acidity, medium (+) tannin of ripe and dusty texture, the wine has medium alcohol, full body and medium (+) intensity flavors of black fruit of blackcurrant, plum and dark cherries, pungent spice of pepper, oak notes of vanilla, floral notes of violet. The wine has a long finish.
Conclusion: Very good quality Australian Shiraz with a highly complex nose of phenomenal intensity, the wine is tasty, juicy with lots of black fruit characters, balanced well with delicate oak and development notes, it has the finesse and delicacy which a lot of Australian Shiraz did not exhibit. With also very good concentration and a long finish, the wine is certainly ready to drink now, but got the body and structure to maintain well for another 3-5 years.

  • Awesome drinking already - not as bold as a Barossa, but well balanced red fruits, smooth tannins. Will benefit from additional aging
