Decanted 1 hr. ahead, and sampled over the next hour. Light ruby-garnet color with a touch of orange. Faint but pleasant nose of violets, herbs. Easy drinking on the palate, as the wine is light-bodied, with cranberry tones. Finish is drying, very light tannins. A pleasant, light, and uncomplicated bottle.

Bright, energetic wine which reminds me more of a well-made Nouveau than a Cru Beaujolais, which is probably exactly what Steve Edmunds was going for. This is food wine that's meant to be consumed when you're tired of thinking about what you're drinking and just want something that makes you want to drink more. My only problem with the wine is that at the suggested price point I can think of many Cru Beaujolais that would offer the same joie de vivre with a bit of terroir driven complexity thrown in for good measure.

Previous bottles have been better. May on the far side of its drinking window.

Nice, straightforward. Not the world's best value though.
