  Sooo schön! Geöffnet und für 3 Stunden an der Luft gelassen. Für einen Nebbiolo superdunkles Rubin, orange Reflexe am sehr schmalen Rand.
  Präzise in der Nase. Klare Himbeere und Kirsche, Rosenblätter, Trüffel, Marzipan - sowas von einer sortentypischen Barolo-Nase! Und das im 2009…
  Am Gaumen ein Traum. Himbeere, Kirschfrucht - sehr druckvoll in der Frucht, etwas Lakritz/Teer, getragen durch eine tolle, frische Säure, sehr forsche Tannine.
  Erst am Anfang seiner Karriere - ein Jahrgangs-Überflieger!

  Beautiful and fruity, still youthful bouquet with also some leather and tar. On the palate juicy fruits like cherries and plums, beautiful acidity and round tannin with a pleasant bite. A touch of sweetness and not such a long finish. But overall a beautiful and mouth filling wine which has reached maturity stage.

  Sehr jugendliches (und für Nebbiolo sehr dunkles) Rubinrot. Gleich nach dem Öffnen sehr harsch und säurelastig. Eineinhalb Stunden später wird der Wein rund und voll, bekommt sehr breite Schultern.
  Explosive Nase nach Himbeeren, Weichseln, Rosenblättern, Marzipan und etwas Unterholz.
  Am Gaumen nunmehr tolle Balance, dunkel Aromen (Teer, Pilze, Schwarzkirschen) aber auch rote Beeren, wieder Marzpian. Druckvoll, mundfüllend, samtiges Mundgefühl. Feine, präsente Tannine, toller Säurebogen. Ein grossartiger Barolo und für den eher frühreifen Jahrgang sehr jugendlich.

  Ich konnte es kaum glauben - das war Mosconi 2009! Blind serviert, wirkt im Vergleich zu Sori Ginestra 2010 wie ein Jungwein. Dunkelbeerig, ledrig, Schoki, etwas Schwarztee, Rauch. Ein ganz, ganz grosser Barolo! Und scheinbar viel langlebiger als gedacht...

  Well drinkable at the moment. Fully fresh nose , so no old Italian smell or taste. A little bit sweet (alcohol?).
  
  Nice acidity , nice tannine
