Yee Ha! These wines are finally coming into a window where they are very tasty to me. Others have disappointed but this was a delicious blend that was real crowd pleaser.

Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, raspberry, camphor, garrigue, licorice, smoke, and flowers - truly fascinating. Palate: Medium-full bodied, perfectly ripe spicy red fruit attack, great balance, noticeable back-end lift dominated by spicy fruit, minerals, and rusty earth. Finish: Lengthy 45-60 seconds dominated by red fruit, garrigue, and rusty earth. This shows great balance from front to back with the only drawback being a noticeable bit of alcohol driven heat in the back-end (listed as 14.9% abv).

WA Grenache Tasting: Deep ruby.. ringer? I think this is the wine i brought (yup! was right). seems a bit off.. chocolate.. 5/6 in flight b/c thre's one that's even more flawed.

A wonderful floral and fruity bouquet on the nose. The flavor profile was berries, chocolate and a hint of graphite. It paired spectacularly with D'Affinois (brie) cheese!

Beginning to sing . . . mid weight, deep fruit, complex, balanced.
