At Allison Inn, first night of our Oregon Auction tastings...first experience with this particular wine from WillaKenzie. By the glass, recommended by somm
Medium color/ Light red fruits, herbs and wood on the nose. Red fruits, cranberry, stewed plum. Still somewhat tannic. Leaner vintage so less roundness to the fruit.
nice enough but nothing exceptional.

Medium ruby, light cedar nose. Open an hour, dry light tannins, wet stone mineral, light fruit, red plums, stone fruit tannins with some bitter. Somewhat restrained where the tannins are more evident than the acid. Night two, some bright cranberry, pomegranate, wet stones followed by some bitter. Over priced for the quality, better wines for half the price.

Complex and balanced. Notes of forest floor and lavender with spice. Licorice, cherry cola, slight oak on the palate with some pepper on the finish.
