Dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass on consecutive days. This was fairly sappy with deep raspberry and ripe cherry, a bit of vanilla as well, somewhat sharp and angular on the finish; considerably better day 2 with more earthiness and the angularity has relolved to a spiced finish. Score based on day 2.

From my tasting at the winery. Beautifully balanced earthy, masculine, volcanic notes with clean red fruit. Unique in its profile vs others offered at the tasting,
Unfortunately pnp at hotel on cannon beach with pathetic stemware. Truly pathetic. Waste of bottle.
How can $500/nt hotel have stemware that looks like glasses for doll house??
Day 2....improved. Tannins softened..iron, masculinity more pronounced. Fruit dark and deep. No heat. Quite nice.
