Nose is full of raisinated fruit, figs, prunes, dried sour cherries with some burned earthiness, murky old wood, a bit of barnyard and showing a bit of maturation in the form of leather and tobacco.
Medium acidity, medium body, medium+ tannins and a fairly good medium+ long finish. Great structure that even though there is a bit of alcoholic sweetness to it is well balanced by dry, distinct tannins and a very dry finish. Worked well with food, but did absolutely terrific on its own as well.
With a style like this I can't see that much happening with a few years of cellaring other than it might loose some of its filling. I would probably try to drink this sooner rather than later.

Pale intensity, garnet color. Some sediment in the bottle.
The nose is developing with a medium intensity. Aromas of dark cherries, raisins, dried herbs, dry soil, leather, spice box and old wood. Good complexity and very distinct southern Italian-nose.
The wine is dry on the palate with a medium acidity, body and a bit grippy tannins. Intensity is medium with flavors of raisins, dried cherries, leather, spice box and warm soil. The finish is medium(+) and very dry.
A great example of Cirò and, as most of these wines, very good QPR. Easy-drinking with complexity enough to stay interesting and very food friendly. Would love to have a case of these on my own. In a really good spot right now and should be drunk in a year or so.

Light amber brick color. Nose of vanilla, baking spices. Palate of delicate red fruits with spice. Integrated tannins. Really nice italian varietal. Reminds me a little of baby nebbiolo but with more fruit.

Lots of character and great drink-ability!

Mmmmm! Right on. Great recommendation with an old favorite Roquefort burger I haven't had in years from The Spotted Pig. I love New York!
Young cherries, thyme, horse hair, with great balance and verve.

An elegant wine with red berries and a hint of leather on the nose. Quite firm tannins. I like.
