I like the Kiwi Syrah style very much: this is a pretty dry iteration, but it is very long and unmistakeably Kiwi. There is a clarity and personality to this that you either like or you do not, but it is pure Syrah on the nose and palate. Certainly a food wine. No point in keeping much further: it will last but not improve.

started off with an astringent finish which was slightly unpleasant but this seemed to pass with time. Deep and fruity Syrah which drinks well but will benefit from more aging

Plenty of depth to this wine. A little less of a fruit bomb than most Aussie shiraz but still quite deep and fruity Should make a good match for bbq food and also for rich meat dishes in the winter Not too convinced by the £20 price tag though

Seems smokier than it has in the past.
Still plenty of deep fruit with freshness on the finish preventing it from seeming jammy

Vibrant acidity. Bramble and blackcurrant notes. This is so fresh despite richness of fruit.
Very good
