Nicely made Cab. Sauvignon. Was tasting the Rutherford at the same time. Seems the Oakville had a more interesting palette and volatile expression going on, compared to the Rutherford bottle. Somewhat hot and fruit forward.

Vintage Select Industry Tasting - Firehouse in the Heights: Improved since the last taste two years ago. Nose of black currant, mint, sour cherry, and plum. On the palate, dominated by black currant, with hints of bright red cherry, plum, and oak. Long tannic finish with bright acidity. Hold for a couple more years. One of the top five.

Both the Rutherford and the Oakville were very good. One was slightly better, but I can't remember which bc I tasted them a while ago and just got to logging it now. Hope to have again.

Quite nice, in early maturity, and open for business. This isn’t a producer I’ve had before.
