  Tasted at the winery. Red cherry, some spice and floral notes on the nose, but seemed slightly dryer and less bright than the 2017. Medium bodied (12.5% ABV) with open and round red cherry upfront. Feels more integrated and rounded through the middle than the 2017, with less upfront brightness. Integrated spice notes and some acidity comes in towards the back. Overall, the fruit is open an expressive, with enough structure to give it backbone. It doesn't have the liveliness or the crispness of the 2017 or the depth of the 2016, but it makes up for it through balance and integration. Showing quite well now and show be able to maintain this level for another few years.
