Mid star. Thought this might be tired, but not a bit of it. Mature, ready, but really no signs of fatigue. Still a nice lemony snap, well integrated with an oily, waxy texture reminiscent of a northern Rhone/Anjou cross. Certainly one for food, especially oily, garlicky seafood goodness. Well done.

Mid straw. Enjoyed this more at just above fridge temp when it was very fresh and flinty. Got a little flabby at room temp. Plenty lemon and grapefruit plus white stone fruits, bits of light honey and wax too. Really enjoyable wine, carried it's high alcohol well.

Nicely evolved with complexity and refinement. Pronounced minerality alongside beeswax, honeysuckle, aromatic hetbs and spice. Medium-bodied, rich and balanced with a lingering aftertaste. Drinks perfectly right now but will keep evolving for another 3-5 years.

Lovely, balanced wine. I felt like something buttery with a touch of acidity - a specialist at Fortnum's directed me to this. What a lovely choice.

Lovely wine, stone fruit and honey, luscious yet not excessive; clean finish. Really nice.
