  Opened and poured in a decanter. Took a small sample and then let it sit for about 30 before going back to it. The wine opened nicely. The tannins are present but smoothed out. Followed over about two hours and it continued to improve.

  Looks like theres very few recent notes on this wine and I'm here to encourage you that this wine is moving along really well. It is still bright and youthful, but the hard tannins noted in some previous notes have resolved into a beautiful velvety mouthfeel with leather, ripe red fruits, and a length to match. Great drinking spot now but lots of wonderful drinking time ahead of this bottle

  Pleasantly modern. Polished, but not overoaked or overripe. Balanced, complex, and interesting. I wouldn't want this any denser. My only bottle, but would gladly take more.

  Popped and poured and watch out. Chew dense tannins. Almost undrinkable. Nose was definitely leather, back cherries, and anise. Tough first glass, but closed bottle and reopen following day and was...out of sight. Smooth, silky, and 15 second finish. Same black cherry goodness in a fully integrated package. What a difference a day makes. DEFINITELY has many more years to go. 5-7 more at least.
