Full bodied Australian Shiraz. I like the oak flavors this wine give like Vanilla and caramel but it's not overly sweet. The fruit is predominately blackberry flavors. A bit too much spice and has a certain taste that I didn't recognize which lowered the score for me.

Dense. More going on than I had time to discover. Black fruit, Terry's dark chocolate orange, spice, iron filings, agree on the talc like tannin. Very long. Took 3 hours for me to come around to this, or maybe just 3 hours for it to open up enough. Initial glass was a bit hot on the finish but given time it came together very nicely.

Sydney good food and wine show (Olympic Park, Homebush, Sydney): red berries, - raspberries and cherries, spice and more of the same on the palate with cream and then encroaching alcohol heat on the finish. Tannic grip is quite talc like. It's a bit out of whack.

Mulberry, black pepper, spice, slight cream. On the palate lots of residual sugar over anonymous and jammy fruit. Not much tannin. Simple. Forgettable.
