Toasty oak with bright blueberries, licorice and pepper. Palate is forward and bold with strong peppery, minerals and plummy note. Hard to ignore that this is a Shiraz even if tasted blind. Not your rich, fruit driven and lush style, very structured but a touch rough at the edges. Mid-palate is fresh and somewhat ‘hard’ with a very deep and lingering peppery finish. Too oaky and peppery for my taste.

Still in fine condition, screw capped. Generous. In fruit, aroma and structure.
