  Burgundy color with a warm rounded impression in the mouth and with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries, plums, cola, earth, and allspice. Good balance and definition with quite a long finish. Very good and distinctive when compared to other California Pinot Noirs.

Previous poster mentioned cola--while I characterize KB as heavy cola, and a MUCH different style than this, I think there is a bit of a cola influence. Not over-sweet though, as lighter cigar box and tobacco and dark cherry dominate. Interesting wine to say the least, but feels like its best years are from 2016 - 2020.
