  Lovely. Fully packed with loads of dark mature fruit like blackberry, sun warm strawberry and sweet licorice. There is also a clean side to the nose like thyme and sage adjoined by a whiff of white flowers. The palate adds nicely to the nose with balance and a lovely integration. Without doubt a full bodied impression. Tannins are lingering on in the back end but are certainly well behaved. This is a lovely effort which would perform excellently to grilled meats and a fat potato gratin. Drinks nicely now. No need to cellar.
