I did a little experiment holding this bottle for a few years and drinking with a bottle of the 2016 vintage. In my opinion this wine is better in it's youth because the upfront fruit balanced with the (light) tannin is it's strong point. With a few years, the tannin is reduced (which was already pretty mild to begin with) and the fruit is attenuated. It ends up tasting like a simple wine that is a bit syrupy sweet that didn't develop any complexity. Maybe this is confirmation bias, but I wanted to try it out due to previous notes saying this wine would be good with age. Conclusion: a nice red wine to go with a burger but not something I'd age beyond a year or two.

Great Rhone blend ! This must be a Sans Liege signatur wine! Powerfull wine - almost massive in the glass. Lots of dark fruit, chocolate and soft tannins.

First ever with this one and it's forward and clearly CA, but it's also balanced and the delicious factor is high. Drinking really well right now with short aeration in the glass. Deep ruby w/ purple flecks. Aromas of dark fruits, damp soil, tree bark, mushrooms, and pencil lead. Fantastic nose actually. Medium body and acid, long finish, and lush on the palate, with flavors of dark red fruits, lightly bitter red apple skin, and a touch of orange peel and drying black tea. This is actually pretty serious wine. It's def. drinking well now, but I'm curious...

Black cherry, strawberry, and red licorice with warm spice including anise on the nose ... Attack is juicy and fruit forward ... Mid palate picks up some woodsy undertones and the finish is long with firm tannins ... Very tasty and drinking well!

Great GSM. Good QPR. Buy it whenever you can especially if at discount. One hour decant is optimal.
