In a good place now. It’s super polished. Very clean profile of blackberries, plum and a long creamy finish. Dark and rich but not sweet. My last bottle and this feels at peak.

Thomas Elenay Virtual Tasting; 11/2/2021-11/4/2021: Meaty, smoky, cherry and some undergrowth aromatics. Palate is well balanced, with plenty of savoury flavour and restrained red and black fruits. Good acid keeps it lively and structured. Drinking well now though a few more years wouldn't hurt either.

This followed up a Graveyard so was in tough company to stand out tonight. Very young, a fair bit of oak up front which surprised me. Fine tannins and good acidity, just needs some time to sort itself out, will go a good distance. Don't touch the rest until 2020.

Hunter Valley - 6 Cellar Doors (Hunter Valley): {screwcap, A$50} Beautiful spicy, plummy fruits. Medium acidity. The palate is very even, rent with polished fruit framed by medium/high powdery tannins. All class; it’s hard to pick out too many highlights when it has such integrity. Very good indeed, and should age beautifully. $10 cheaper and I’d have bought some!

This is all plums. Rich, dense and smokey. Tannins are soft and powdery. Only criticism is that it’s a bit one dimensional right now.
