Really excellent red. This bottle was even better than the one I already enjoyed a couple of months ago. Nicely matured with long leathery, smokey, roasty aftertaste. If only the price tag was more consumer-friendly.

wow, still bold aromas after about 11y, but of course well matured; well balanced berry flavors with a hint of leather and smoke finish, which somewhat reminds me of Scotch whiskey finish; on the 2nd day the flavors have faded noticeably; maybe already past its peak.

This is a wonderfully well made wine and in a terrific place right now. Nice nose, beautifully integrated tannins, lush mouthfeel this bord blend is a real beauty. I am surprised there are not more comments about this juice. I would have scored it higher except for the glaringly awful QPR. If this was priced better I would buy it by the truckload or at least keep plenty of it around as a yummy change of pace to other regional bord blends but at the current price tag there is way too much other stuff to drink. If you have this however, enjoy it because it is a beautiful wine

Excellent wine, rich aromas of dark berries, indulgent, well balanced, good strong tannins but not overpowering

Smooth, balanced and structured like an opulent left bank; cedar and cassis on the nose; very good
