It is easy to discern this Malbec from Patagonia, farther south, and at a much lower elevation than Mendoza, tastes a lot different. It does not have the high altitude, ripe plum and blackberry flavors. It actually is more European in style, with a broad, acid first, mouth feel and flavor profile. Typical dark red color. Floral and fruity nose that also indicates some big acid. About half red and half dark fruit. Gritty little tannins. Pretty complete and balanced.

A very fruity style of Malbec, bold, jammy and sweet. Not much in the way of tannins or structure. Great with thick, grilled hambugers.

A little too pruney for me, and a bit of stem or bell pepper in there too.
