Average everyday wine. Hits in the back of the mouth. Earthy taste. Blackberry and plum. Definitely better after sitting out for one or two hours. Little left over flavor.

P: Med, poss LM, body; Swtish fruit on entry, but then the structure kicks in. Lacking somewhat in intensity. Lingering, somewhat astringent finish. Decent, though with more fruit would be OUTSTANDING @ this vendor's $8.95 price.

We had this at Arroyo wine bar in Telluride, found it back home for $11.99. At Arroyo, we really liked it - was opened up and fruit forward, but dry and a drink now. We tried a bottle at home, decanted, too tight! Left the second half overnight and what a difference! Just like Telluride. This wine needs LOTS of air, either open it the night before or better yet, lay it down for a year. This is an everyday bargain-priced Malbec that delivers beyond its price- not timid, better than medium-bodied, a click short of robust but needs LOTS of air to get to that point

Definitely worth the wait to allow to air for the price. I have no problem with that.
