  This wine is still amazing. Drank it next to a Pierre Usseglio 1998 and all were in agreement. This 73 had more aroma and flavor than the much younger Usseglio. Warm expressive nose with hints of tobacco. Full bodied with flavors of dark fruit, prunes. Tannins have gone but there is still acidity left. Finish was impressive for a wine this age.
