Happy Australia Day! What better way to celebrate then with a bottle of Barossa Valley Shiraz. Deep garnet red with a hint of ruby. Rich and dark nose coated with mint, dark bitter cocoa, lavender, black cherries and a little forest floor. Medium tannins (6/10) and full bodied. Rich mouthfeel filled with cinnamon, plums, bitter cocoa and a little earthy. Long finish. Drink till 2026.

Tasted upon opening then re-corked and tasted 24 hours later. This is a wine for Australian wine lovers (myself included). Words do not describe how good this is! Dark chocolate, roasted plum, raspberry jam, macerated blackberries and a touch of vanilla dominate the palate, with great acidity and a plush texture. Polished, refined and absolutely delicious...with everything in perfect balance.

Tasted during a Wine Advocat event - A matter of taste. Dark blackish crimson. Roasted nose of licorice and scorched earth. Full bodied palate with a rather sweet feeling to it..
