Black cherry on the nose. Deep flavors of black cherry with a peppery finish. Wow - I did not know if this bottle would hold up - it was spectacular. Paired with Sunday night spaghetti.

TCA ruined any possibility of this being drinkable A bottle consumed approximately a year ago fared much better. I recall it was essentially a typical big, Barossa fruit bomb of a wine that I did enjoy to some extent with the heavy meaty food it was consumed with, but the heat was a bit over the top. The 15.2% alcohol was very apparent.
