So...Christmas Eve inventory in the cellar....an orphan half- bottle of this light aperatif wine: On nose: curious scent of buttered rye toast. On palate:follow through of the faded bread note,in addition to an odd , persistent flavour of castor( icing) sugar, and fading oxidized remnants of dried apples and roses....this wine should clearly have been drunk , by at least 2016....a fragile wine meant to be drunk YOUNG, at only 11% alcohol , and composed of Muscat( 85%) and Gewurztraminer( 15%)....live and learn....I recall this wine in 2015, from another half- bottle, as being quite bright, simple and crisp...another learning experience.
Thought it was a Riesling by the nose, tons of stone fruits coming through. On the palette, off dry to a touch of sweetness, with just enough of the Gewurtztraminer there to let u know. Very well made wine. Had with crab cakes and did quite well.

Still reliable year after year. Bright, floral, slightly off-dry, well-made, light. This vintage is the first I've tried in 5 years. Less overtly floral than I remember, perhaps also with a little less zing. But good summer drinking all the same. 11%, $14

The wine looks greenish gold colored. It tastes like apricot, peach, rose and pineapple. The body is light. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

Léger et un peu sucré encore une fois. Simple et court, correct.
