  • simple pleasure at a fair price. Shows the muscat, but any sweetness is balanced against acidity. A very flexible wine - will buy more.

  • Loved this blend of 85% Moscatel, 15% Gewurztraminer. Flowers and apricot, what could be more delightful?! Affordable too. (N 9/20/06)

  • 85% Modscatel & 15% Gewurztraminer in a very interesting blend. Moderately low priced. Dry (much drier than expected). Pleasantly different!!!
Extremely aromatic with heavy floral scents. Despite the low percentage of Gewuz, the grape dominates the blend with floral taking the lead on the palate. There is a seductive roundness, dewy mellon, and succulant juicyness. Not for everyone but certainly for those who enjoy a walk on the wild side of white. Great just contemplating on it's own or: Brunch wine with tropical fruit salad and a quiche. Or trout almondine with asparagus.

  • 85%Moscatel 15%Gewurztraminer
Light golden in color. Lychee nut nose with rose petal, light keifer lime and peach. Very dry in the mouth with light rose, and a sweet biscuit flavor not unlike animal crackers, followed up by a light lime. The finish is bitter orange with some of the floweriness showing up, with a medium length. The main problem is that while the wine is tasty enough there isn't enough body to to support the myriad flavors. c5a12t12o5=84 alt=3
