A wonderful case for aging California Chardonnay, this cool climate chard was golden in colr with nnot a hint of tired notes but effusive in its creamy edged tropical/orchard fruit notes. Age has increased its mineral/linear acidity rather than the oak and fruit and created a wonderful drink. With grilled oysters

This wine is actually just entering its prime window of drinking. Gaining richness and so full of floral, spice and exotic scents. Full and lush on palate with plenty of acidity to keep it fresh. Hints of buttery oak and restrained fruit keep it interesting and a salty finish keep you coming back for more. A great wine ready to go now.

This is drinking wonderfully for my palate (and I typically don’t really like older chards). Opened to pair with ranch smoked chicken thighs with a Thanksgiving like stuffing (with walnuts) and it paired terrifically. One more in the cellar for the right meal in the next year.

On its last legs. The middle has hollowed out and the finish is a bit too bracing to match with food other than, perhaps, seafood. So drink 'em if you got 'em. (= Pass, at this point of its development)

Well integrated oak without oxidation or butterscotch. Very appealing with somewhat lean finish
