Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Decanted an hour. Medium ruby. Brighter, more floral aromatic notes than typical syrah with slight raspberry on top, undercurrent of black fruit and a bit of earth and cedar. Good typicity and more feminine on the nose than typical syrah. Bright, round start on the pallet with a short, tannic finish. Somewhat disappointing given finesse shown on the nose and start. May need a few years to round out the ending.
