A very good case here for cellaring a wine. In its youth, this was rambunctious and a tad hot, but now this is in its sweet spot. It first comes off as a little too plush and soft but some air (maybe an hour) allows it to open up and the complexities join the pleasures. Good stuff. Drink now.

Purchased as library selection from winery, raisiny and a little flabby, seems a little cooked. Not what it seemed when tasted at the tasting room.

Unusually robust and rustic for Dutton-Goldfield. Not flawed and certainly drinkable, but nothing more.

Continued through our third and (sadly) last bottle of this Angel Camp vintage. Absolutely excellent, as were the previous ones.
