No one would mistake this for Burgundy, Oregon, or Sta Rita Hills. That said, this is obviously well made for its style. Lush on the nose. A touch of cherry cola, but mostly very ripe dark cherries and spice. Similar on the palate, but finishes with a pleasant pine. Very fine tannins, decent acidity. This feels like it's at peak, but should also hold for a while too.

Not over the hill but not my style any more, too much cherry cola for my current taste.

I agree with WENDYINWLV that this has improved with another year of aging. Soft, cherry fruit and better integration. A pleasant wine.
