Light to mid gold. Aroma of sulphur and apricot. Fruity, fat flavours. Dose of coarse acidity. This is passable but no more.
Tasted versus the Schmitges 2005 Erdener Treppchen Auslese* - a ca. 90-91 point wine with a similar profile. The Schmitges was better by a wide margin.

Criminally young but still delicious nectar. Riper than other vintages I've tasted with and explosive, nectarine and mango note. Will be profoud in time.
