A lucky day open this matured, Very fresh and intence riesling Bought in Rudesheim 2014. On the nose with citrus, mineral, some yellow Apple and notes of peach and maybe Lime. On the palate with powerful concentration with citrus, Apple, a bit of peach, nice and not to strong acidity and mineral ( more matured). Very nice and long aftertaste citrusdominated with high freshness but at the same time intence and round. Probably at its top or near it. Liked this very much with owenbaked cod/ skrei on a bed with salad, peasprouts, green prayer side, roasted hazelnuts and a citrus vinaigrette with some red onion in browned butter.

No notes - clearly top class Riesling with less stealth/mineral precision then other top class Rheingau Rieslings however compensated by a lushness that is very moreish.

2012 Rieslings from Georg Breuer plus a few older wines (Stockholm): Nose with citrus notes including zest, yellow apple, some spice, and mineral. Palate with powerful concentration, citrus-dominated aromas with some yellow apples and green apples as well as some peach, high acidity, mineral, and a hint of spice, as well as a long and citrus-dominated aftertaste. Young, 91+ p. Compared to 2p12 Roseneck, this 2012 Rottland shows a bit more powerful and less mineral-packed nose - but this doesn't mean it is lacking in minerality on an absolute scale - and a more powerful and spicy palate.
