  A story of inadvertent patience paying off. Found this at the bottom of a stack in my cellar. Mouth filling fruit, red and black raspberries, chocolate-covered cherries, grippy tannins give a meaty quality. Acidity provides lift and balance. Wonderful wine. Compulsively drinkable at this point. But who has such patience for a sub-$20 bottle?

  Disappointingly tight, but still a fine drink. Probably needs more time in the cellar, which surprised me. Dark cherry and fine tannins.

  Evolving in the glass and still opening up an hour later when this was polished off; I meant to hold these but they kept getting drunk; bigger style but with typicity
