We really liked this wine. It was indeed rather rich and buttery, but also had that Meursault stony mineral taste to keep it interesting. Drunk with chicken with vinegar sauce (a somewhat rich and creamy dish) and went very well.

BORGOGNA 2015; 2/22/2015-3/22/2015: Tasting at the domaine. Burro di arachidi e frutta gialla. Burroso senza essere grasso, pieno e caloroso. Foderante, ma secco. Buona bevuta facile. Ancora troppa riduzione e residui di anidride carbonica.

Wildman 2012 Burgundy Preview and Barrel Tastings (New York, NY): Tasting pour. Broad, fat 2012 white. Old butter a bit, smudgy experience, good acid, good texture. I don't typically care for "fat" Meursault.
