Dark gold color. Really no aromas at this time. Full palate primarily of honey. Not obviously corked like the last bottle but seems completely over the hill which makes no sense. The first bottle I had of three was one of the best Soaves I've ever had, second bottle corked and now this?

Rich gold color and super intense nose, this opens with aromas of dried apricots and peaches, beeswax, and hazelnut and macadamia nut. Palate shows almond, peach, and honeysuckle with a very slight yet pleasant oxidative character. Very complex and smooth drinking indeed, kept coming back for more as layer after layer evolved in the glass. Excellent buy, and a whole other level of wine than their basic Soave.

Medium gold with orange /amber tint. Medium intensity aromas of beautiful ripe peach/ apricot/ yellow apples with hints of almond at back end. Absolutely enticing and beyond complex. Medium palate - more citrus now than stone fruit, again with slight almond bitterness. This is drinking really well now at six years but may wait another 1-2 yrs for my last two bottles. Drinking this will show one what Soave is capable of.

Inama Wine Dinner (Fiola Mare - Washington, DC): A bit more honey and richness than the 2013, but this is still bright with scents of chalk, white tea and minerals. Bold and rich palate but so bright and refreshing as well. Green melon and key lime fruit blends with honey, almond, chamomile tea, a slight touch of vanilla and lingering minerality. A bold, waxy presence but the wine is precise and crisp throughout. Interesting to taste this wine at this point, but it's still going strong.
