Big, dark and inky. Even though it's a bit over 60% Cabernet, the Syrah tends to dominate the profile. Lovely bouquet and a long finish, however it lacks the complexity of the older vi rages I've tasted. Still, as usual it's a very enjoyable bottle of juice and at the discount purchase price of $23.50, an excellent buy.

Full-bodied Paso Robles blend showing well on pop and pour. Red and black fruit, licorice, pencil lead, a touch of citrus. Rustic but delicious.

Better than the last bottle. The Cabernet comes through with a bit of coffee, chocolate and cinnamon. Big body and a long, complex finish.

Very good bottle at the price. Held up after 2 days in the fridge too.
