  • Sealed with Diam cork. We decanted the wine for 45 minutes before we poured the first glass, and the wine clearly benefited from further aeration. It was dark ruby in colour and offered red fruit, cherry, candies, spices, vanilla and cinnamon on the nose. On the spicy palate the wine showed cherry, red fruit, spices, vanilla, cinnamon, clove and some chocolate, paired with medium-plus acidity, medium-level tannin, some heat from the alcohol, a good, creamy mouthfeel and very good length. The medium- to full-bodied wine was one-dimensional and lacked concentration, and the alcohol was out of balance. OK-ish.

  • Violet red color. Cherries and plum , hints of oak on the nose. Slightly reductive. Powerful and concentrated. Good lenght. Very good organic Ripasso.
