  Another troublemaker wine for me. First glass and I swear I detected strong aromas of menthol, that disappeared while drinking the second glass(I wish it could last, because I liked it!). What else was unusual? No prunes, no raisins, no black cherry both in smell and taste. Red cherry is everywhere. It's not what I expected from Ripasso.
  15% ABV and it's visible.
  I won't say this wine is bad or undrinkable ( matter of fact is very juicy), but it's out of balance and one dimensional.
  Put it simple - boring.

  The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, fig and sherry. It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), raisin, oak, vanilla and cinnamon. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.
