Eden Road tasting and dinner (North Sydney Cellars): medium plus intensity aromas of berry and cherry, black over green pepper, quite sweet fruit, and black olives. In the mouth the wine is juicy, blackberry and pepper with cherry notes. The front of mouth tannic grip and slight alcohol warmth join on the long finish...balanced, intense, very nice.

This is one of the flagship wines from this Canberra producer whose reputation grows each year. The wine has pedigree but is in need of time to unfold and truly show it's best when compared at a point in time to it's little brother; the Long Road.
It has a nose of crushed red berries that is restrained and holding a few secrets back that will come to the fore in years to come. The medium bodied palate has peppery and spicy nuances throughout a sea of taut dark berry fruits. The highlight of the wine is the interplay between drying tannins and quality tight grained oak, both of which add complexity and depth.
This is a wine that undoubtedly needs time to show all it's subtlety and class. Review Link - www.winereviewer.com.au (drink from 2015-2028)

Australian Wine Unearthed Public Tasting (Sydney, Australia): Floral and spicy with some meaty character as well. Bright palate, it is lifted by fine acidity. Really good length, the more I think about it, the better it seems.

Simple pink grapefruit flavours. Not much more at this stage.
