Nose is deep and rich with ripe cherries, plums, slight green, summer forest, funky, earthy mushrooms. Palate is a bit lighter than you might expect but has lots of cranberry, sage and rosemary, sour cherry, decently long finish. Great with a mushroom torte and duck leg confit.

Tuesday Night Double Blind $60+ (Bin 75): See through brighter ruby almost to rim; sour plum, dark cherry, elegant, slight pyrazine, dusty, very fresh, licorice; nice soft texture, dusty mineral, sweet red plum and dark cherry, sweet floral, red and darker, leaner, crunchy, Burg, razor sharp acid, almost medicinal finish; good Corton but not profound.
