Great color, just a slight hint of bricking at the rim. The nose starts with cherries and brown spice, followed by nutmeg and leafy/earthy elements with maybe just a touch of heat. The palate is medium bodied, smooth and silky. Dried cherries, leafy aspects, a hint of mint round out the flavor profile. The finish is medium length but the wine is delicious....drinking really well right now, but probably has a ways to go before it starts to fade. I'm glad I waited to open the first one, and wish I had more than 2 left in the cellar!

One hour decant. Sweet cherry nose. Spice, mineral and strawberry palette. Everyone liked this. Very easy drinking. Lots of life left. Would buy again. 92+

On the palate, the first impression is a huge amount of sweet, crunchy, grapey fruit. Like a bottle of Ocean Spray Cran-grape. Blind, I would have said Gamay from Beaujolais. A bit of menthol and some Tums-like minerality in the background. With air, the aggressive sweet fruit and the earthy elements become a bit more balanced. Tannins are soft but mount. Acidity is medium. For those that worry about 2011 greenness, there's absolutely none here.

A distinctive funk on the nose that I did not appreciate. Poured in the decanter and improved greatly. I get dense sap, a little sickly sweet, and chalky mint. Takes a while but a whaft or pureness comes through, but you e got to. E looking for it. Drank over two hours and did improve, but not a wine I’d purchase again at any price.
Consumed 2 bottles and each showed the same. Had an offering for the 16 at 50$. I’d pass based on my experience with this wine.

No details. Great fruit and complex. There was a lot going on. No rush on remaining bottle

Pours dark garnet, already bricking on the edges.
Strong aroma of flowers and ripe berries.
