Pale straw yellow, nose is clean and bright, showing pink guava, gooseberry, grape fruits, subtle grassy note and hints of mineral. Soft and supple entry, small percentage of barrel fermentation add depth and intensity on midpalate with layers of gooseberries, tropical fruits and grapefruits along with bright and crisp acidity. Nice and long finish with lingering grassy aftertaste. Rich and restrain very much different than the showy, upfront style of NZ SB. It offers great QPR at 30% lesser than Shaw & Smith SB.

(Tasting@d'Arenberg) sweet guava nose, lifted with characteristic green gooseberries. elegantly restrained, soft acidity, textural with ripe fruit, with hint oak and struck matchstick. ends nicely with oyster minerality. simple and approachable.

A very nice drop, better drunk when colder as the alcohol becomes more pronounced as it warms. Would drink again

Too sweet. Got a little less sweet as it warmed up, and began to show some definition. But not what I was looking for in a sauvignon blanc.
